"She doesn't feel pain. She doesn't feel hunger. (She) will drift off to a nice little sleep and eventually pass on to be with God." By that same token, if we medicate him (the husband) so that he does not feel pain or hunger, it would certainly be okay to deprive him of food and water until he's dead. How callous does it take to say that killing someone is "a nice little sleep?" Sounds strangely Hitler-like. I could hear the explanation of the gas chambers being so described.
