The Bible discusses the {mystery of lawlessness (iniquity)|2Th 2:7}.

Christians today need to be informing themselves about the various “mysteries,” especially because ALL the deeper matters of Scripture are predicated upon understanding them.

    They are:

  1. {Of the kingdom of the heavens|Mat 13:11}
  2. {Israel’s partial and temporary blindness|Rom 11:25}
  3. {the church Christ’s body|Eph 5:32}
  4. {the hope of Gentile glory|Col 1:27}
  5. {the rapture of the believers|1Cor 15:51}
  6. {iniquity (lawlessness)|2Th 2:7}
  7. {godliness|1Ti 3:16}
  8. {7 stars and 7 candlesticks|Rev 1:20}
  9. {Babylon|Rev 17:5}
  10. {the woman carried by the beast|Rev 17:7}

The mystery of “lawlessness” has been at work since the time of the Lord’s ascension. Now lawlessness is not mere sin, but it is the promotion of sin by lawful authorities. For instance, when men and women decide that the man is NOT going to be the head of his household, but that they will adopt other arrangements, this is lawlessness.

When children are promoted as partners in the family, rather than subjects of their fathers and mothers, this is lawlessness. When the discipline of those children – including corporal punishment – is outlawed and otherwise discouraged by government, this is lawlessness.

Although lawlessness is today in mystery form – one day in the prophetic future it will take embodiment in the {man of lawlessness|2Th 2:3} – we can still discern it when the eyes of our understanding have been opened by the light of the Scriptures.

For instance, the Colorado Supreme Court has recently given us evidence that lawlessness is still alive and well when they commuted a death sentence to life imprisonment even though a presiding judge in the case said “If any case merits the death penalty, there cannot be serious debate about this case being that case.”

And so, with such stern words from a presiding judge concerning the validity of the death penalty, upon what principle does the commutation of the death sentence rest? Simply that the jury was exposed to the Scriptures in their deliberations, wherein, it may be rightly presumed, they discovered that God validates – indeed MANDATES – capital punishment.

Specifically, certain passages in the Book of Leviticus were read. That just goes to show that the jurors, though influenced by the Bible, did not really know where to turn when taking up God’s view on capital punishment, or they would have turned to that portion which God gave to Noah – and us – after the great {deluge|Gen 9:6}.

Notice, contrary to popular opinion, that God instituted the death penalty for the reason people never give: “For in the image of God made He man.” Capital punishment is instituted by God to preserve the image of God, which is man. Note further that God instituted that His image be preserved by calling upon a society of man to see to the execution of the murderer. IN OTHER WORDS, the foundation of human government rests upon CAPITAL PUNSHMENT.

So how odd is it that the lawful authority of the state, established by God Himself, first and foremost to execute murderers, now declares that coming to terms with capital punishment through reading about its origin and application from the One Who ordained it as the basis of human governance is cause for the state to refuse to execute the murderer so found.

Indeed, the state of Colorado is practicing governmental suicide with such lawlessness.

Lawlessness derives from the “science” of law, which is a tool the Roman Republic has been using since the Biblical times. It is the reason for every revolution and the collapse of Empires. The road out of Rome is painted red with the blood of martyrs because of it. The Laywers create Laws which are in their own interest, and then eventually it becomes LAWLESS. The Lawyers were brought to America after the Great Depression to catch them in their “game” of law. The Roman system has brought pain and suffering for 2000 years. They rationalize lying to people, and treat human beings like animals/cattle. They believe they ARE GODS, and believe they are doing God’s will… which is actually greed and corruption masked by political rhetoric and the game of Law. They truely are vampires…

So the WORLD is being held hostage by the World Trade Organization, the World Wide Web, and the Rule of LAW. The Lawyers and Solicitors are World Wide, and protect the corporations. If they loose a case, they just re-write the laws. They have been doing this in America forever… which is why we are in such a crisis at the moment. I believe the corporations are in need of a “Ten Commandmments” which should NEVER change… Even if Jesus Christ would fall from the sky, they would KILL HIM to hide their lies, and of course rationalize the human sacrifice as forgiveness of their sins. So they could continue with another 2000 years of fleecing the lambs.

A Roman Republic does not survive if they cannot make up new laws, or participate in WAR. They have torn their way through every country, and it has reached a point where nobody believes in God anymore because of it. It’s sad…

I have been known to beleive in God all my life despite my ups and downs . I also believe even more about stigmata because I have had a similar experience of such which is very enlightening and spiritual for me and it is hard to tell people that I know more than some that believe or disbelieve. I know very well about lawlessness and boy did it come at a bad time. Or at least a time that I’m quited sure that if we do not do something about it then we are in big trouble. But I know their is still time.

Ryan, Jesus Christ will not fall, but rather descend from the sky, just as he ascended. And they will not be able to KILL Him anymore than they could last time he was here. They never had any power over Him. In fact, He had to lay his own life down. But that time of grace for His enemies is drawing to a close. The next time he appears will be with a sword.

Lawlessness does have to do with the world’s system, but He will have no trouble judging it perfectly. Makes sure you are on the right side in that day, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.

Carol, search the scriptures and see, your so-called stigmata is not according to faith. You have been deceived.

Deborah,

Would you please explain God as the creator of evil?
Thank you.

Keith –

Please see Isaiah 45:7

Isaiah 45:
5″: I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:

“6”: That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.

“7”: I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

I know Isaiah 45:7 says that God created evil, but I don’t believe that the interpretation of the kind of evil that is mentioned here is what you have made it to be. James 1:13 says let no one say when he is tempted “I am tempted by God; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.” and Romans 9:21-23 explains why the Lord makes vessels for honor, and vessels for dishonor. The evil spoken of in Isaiah is interpreted, “troubles” or “calamity” used by God to teach us through trials to grow in Christ. The Book of Romans also teaches to Abhor Evil. (Romans 12:9) and Romans 12:21 “Be not overcome of evil but overcome evil with good” just to name a few. My God is light and in Him there is no darkness!

Comment by Faisal » 1st October, 2010 @ 07:58:29 AM

Umm just wanted to say one thing.. Man is not head of any household. God is.. I know it may sound like I am purposely finding a flaw but the truth is the truth.. to say man is the head is an error.. husband and wife should submit to God and all things will fall into place, just like if earth were to obey God Jesus would not have been crucified. but God is still here even though he was, and will be evermore and man has actually become the temporary leader. Good luck because we are in hell right now thanks to Obama. bye

Lawlessness . . . without the law – without TORAH. Without the teachings and commandments of YHVH.

Comment by Laura » 25th November, 2011 @ 02:41:24 PM

The modern day church has put all their weight upon the Grace of God and has forgotten to teach the Fear of God. Yes, we are all saved by Grace (Y’shua)but we need to live according to the tenants of Yah.

Yeah this is old american good ol boys stuff. Very much doubt iF the writers even know the lORD. Classic i’m alright jack rest o you go to hell junk. Fact is, in the Lord , there is neither male or female, we are as the angels as we live in the powers of the ages to come. Easy to write pontificating stuff on the web. However, the King will separate souls in that day, so abandon the proud rhetoric and learn that building, now, is better than the destruction that the self righteous inflict. Your miserable self advancement is of no avail.
