This week I am attending the Grace Evangelical Society Conference (GES) for the first time.
It’s an interesting conference in one way just for its existence. It is something of a commentary on the state of the Word of God as it is held today that a society and a conference is specially formed for people to reinforce that salvation comes “by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.”

Psalm 12:6
The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
In Psalm 12, God tells us that the actual words of Scripture are written by him.

In Acts 17:30, there is a most remarkable statement by the apostle Paul to the intelligentsia of his day who gathered on Mars Hill:
“And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent ..”

Evangelism has to do with accuracy.

With all the excitement about Mel Gibson’s movie “The Passion of Christ“, have believers in the Lord Jesus Christ been deceived into believing that this is an accurate biblical account of our savior’s last hours? Listen to these messages for John’s take. The first three are about the film almost exclusively. After John critiqued this film, supported as it was by evangelical sellouts to Romanism, resulted in John being cancelled from the Omaha airwaves.
